On June 9, 2026, in Casablanca, Morocco, SOUEAST officially launched the S08 DM. This 7 – seat urban comfort SUV has entered the African market after debuting in the Middle East and Latin America. Over 500 guests, including media, customers, and partners, attended the event. Maître Gims, the brand ambassador, gave a live performance.
Africa is shifting from traditional fuel – powered cars to new energy vehicles. The S08 DM with C – DM hybrid technology offers an NEDC combined range of over 1,300 km. It consumes only 5.3 liters per 100 km in low – battery conditions, reducing costs. Its 1.5TD + 1DHT Super Hybrid Powertrain provides 255 kW output and 3,750 N·m of wheel – end peak torque, suitable for Africa’s diverse road conditions. The Bosch ESP system ensures safety. With a 4,810 mm length and 2,820 mm wheelbase, it has a 7 – seat layout. The 6.4L armrest refrigerator and 3.3 kW V2L function are great for family outings. SOUEAST entered the Moroccan market in June 2025, introduced multiple models, and ranked third among Chinese brands in Q1 this year. The S08 DM will soon launch in Egypt and other African markets.
