This immersive experience allowed them to gain a deeper appreciation of Yunnan’s unique charm and its potential for growth. In the Yunnan tourism promotion session, Yunnan cultural tourism representatives introduced the province’s magnificent landscapes, diverse geographical features, and rich ethnic traditions, highlighting the province’s diverse cultural and tourism resources and its unique appeal in international tourism.
During the Yunnan route promotion session, which focused on the development of Yunnan’s cultural tourism and popular travel routes, representatives from Yunnan’s inbound travel agencies comprehensively presented the province’s geographical advantages, scenic development status, and rich human and natural landscapes. She promoted tourist attractions and emerging travel routes suitable for the Vietnamese market, showcasing Yunnan’s tourism resources and products in various forms to Vietnamese cultural and tourism organizations. She also extended a sincere invitation to Vietnamese travel agents and tourists, with the message: “Welcome to experience the Many-Splendored Life of Yunnan.”
Yunnan and Vietnam share deep cultural ties and are connected by mountains and rivers. As an important link in the Belt and Road Initiative, the two regions have limitless potential and vast space for development in the field of tourism cooperation. Yunnan’s tourism resources are unique and abundant, with beautiful natural landscapes and authentic ethnic cultures that are highly admired by international tourists. Meanwhile, Vietnam, known as the dazzling pearl of Southeast Asia, attracts global attention with its enchanting coastal scenery and rich cultural heritage.
At the conference, representatives from Vietnamese travel agencies spoke on various aspects such as product development, route optimization, resource sharing, mutual visitor exchanges, and marketing promotion. They shared the opportunities and prospects for tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Yunnan. Both regions boast distinct cultural tourism resources, and there is strong complementarity in terms of resources and promotion. Yunnan’s unique geographical location, convenient direct flight routes, and land transport also provide smoother channels for exchanges between the two regions.
